KILCORNAN LOTTO: The results for Saturday October 27. The Jackpot was not won. Lucky dips to Ger Mann, Noreen Walsh, Brian and Stephen O'Connell, and Aibhe Redmond Kelly. Next week's jackpot will be €5,900. If you wish to buy lotto tickets, please contact any of the following: Liam Meade, Katherine Maher or John Nealon who will organise tickets for you. €2 each or €20 to be included for 10 weeks, €50 for half year or €100 for full year. Tickets are also on sale at the Beer Garden in Kildimo.

CHURCH: Reader for Saturday November 3 is Kathleen Hayes and for Sunday November 4 is Kathleen Kelly. The Eucharistic Minister for Saturday is Mairead Lynch and for Sunday is Nora Murphy. Team Ministry - moving towards pastoral units. A series of meetings involving clergy and pastoral councils in each of the proposed pastoral units are underway across the Diocese. The findings of the consultations with parishes and clergy are being presented. Proposed pastoral units are discussing the road map for the way ahead.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL: The Community Council will hold the Annual Church Gate Collection on this coming week end i.e. Saturday November 3 and Sunday November 4.. Your usual generosity will be appreciated.

Kilcornan Tidy Towns: Upcoming Events: The Stop Food Waste Challenge will take place on four consecutive Tuesday nights at 8.00pm for one hour each night in Kilcornan Community Centre. This began on October 30, and continues on November 6,13 and 20. The programme is about raising awareness of and learning how to reduce food waste in the home. We are looking for 20 participants for the programme. Please contact Lyn at 087-6119048 or any member of the committee if you are interested. Let's Clean Up Kilcornan: The Winter Clean Up will take place on Saturday November 10, The Community Centre will be open from 10.30 - 3.30 to drop bags of litter, etc. If possible separate recyclables from non-recyclables. If you wish to drop outside of these hours please contact us. Cardboard Collection: new this year. Please starting storing any cardboard that you have and drop to us with the litter. Remove staples and tape. Flatpack it. If you can tear it, it is probably suitable. Very glossy cardboard is not.

SALESIAN SECONDARY COLLEGE: A note for your diary. The Salesian Secondary College Pallaskenry will present ''All Shook Up'' on Wednesday and Thursday December 5 and 6 at the Lime Tree Theatre. A musical comedy built around a number of songs made famous by Elvis Presley. It takes place in 1995 in middle America, where one girl's dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacket wearing, guitar playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock n roll. Among the songs featured in the score are the classics like Heartbreak Hotel, Love Me Tender, Don't Be Cruel, Can't Help Falling in Love and of course the title tune, All Shook Up
