KILCORNAN LOTTO: The results for Saturday September 22. The Jackpot was not won. Lucky dips to Mossie O'Keeffe, Marie O'Keeffe Larry O'Connell and Anna Larkin. Next week's jackpot will be €5,650. If you wish to buy lotto tickets, please contact any of the following: Liam Meade, Katherine Maher or John Nealon who will organise tickets for you. €2 each or €20 to be included for 10 weeks, €50 for half year or €100 for full year. Tickets are also on sale at the Beer Garden in Kildimo.
CHURCH: Reader for Saturday September 29 is Edel O'Connell and for Sunday September 30 is Kathleen Kelly. The Eucharistic Minister for Saturday is Mary O'Neill and for Sunday is Karen Maher. There will be Mass in the Church each morning next week at 9.30am.
SYMPATHY: Sympathy is extended to Ann Bourke, Ballinamona, Kilcornan, and her family, on the recent death of her nephew John Scanlon in England. John will be laid to rest in the U.K. on this coming Friday. May he rest in peace.
TIDY TOWNS: The Annual General Meeting of Kilcornan Tidy Towns will be held on Tuesday October 9 in Kilcornan Community Centre at 8.00 pm. We all appreciate the wonderful work this committee does to enhance and improve our environment and our community. Over the past few years Tidy Towns committees around the country and locally have done great work to make our environment a better place. Please come along to add your support.
AFTERNOON TEA AND DANCING: Afternoon Tea Dancing is Back this Sunday September 30, from 3pm - 6pm in Community Hall, Kilteely, Music by Dermot Lyons. Refreshments and Home Baking will be served. All are Welcome to come dancing or just sit back, relax and enjoy the music.
