COMMUNITY COUNCIL: Kilcornan Community are holding a family fun day, in the Community Centre and surrounds, on Saturday next July 21. This is being held in conjunction with the Ger Mc Donnell Cycle Finale and as a special tribute to the late Ger. This is the tenth year of the cycle and will be the last one. Starting time will be 1pm and will continue until 6pm There will be lots to do on the day, from bouncing castles, family sports events, face painting, music throughout, a petting zoo, fire-eaters, tradition games, food, car boot sale and other stalls, an area dedicated to the climbing life story of Ger. HEALING SERVICE: A Service of healing with Mass will be held in Kilteely Parish Church Co. Limerick on Wednesday July 25 at 8pm. The Celebrant will be Fr. John Keane. Fr. Keane is a native of Youghal Co. Cork. He is a Priest in the Diocese of Cloyne. He has spent many years on loan ministering in the missions in South America and Africa. He is gifted with a renowned Healing Ministry which many people have experienced great healing through. All are welcome.
CHARITY CEILÍ: A charity ceilí will be held in Knockaderry community center on Friday August 10, in aid of The Irish Cancer Society. Music and Dance from 9.30pm to 1am. Striolan ceilí are playing on the night. Teas will be served with lots of spot prizes. All profits are going to Cancer Research.
