COMMUNITY COUNCIL: Thank you to everyone who helped with the bag packing in Tesco at the Crescent Shopping Centre before Christmas. The proceeds will go towards our Senior Citizens Party. The Senior Citizens party will be held on January, 14. Our newsletter is available in the Church and on our web page.
TIDY TOWNS ACTION GROUP: Notice of AGM: The AGM is on Tuesday January, 16, 2018 in Kilcornan Community Centre at 8.00pm. Residents aged 16 and over are entitled to vote or be elected to office. We look forward to seeing you there.
SYMPATHY: Sympathy is extended to Brigid Griffin, Ballyvogue, and to her family on the recent death of her mother Maureen Egan (nee Stack), Ballinvulla, Ardagh, who passed away peacefully on December 30, at her home in the loving care of her family in her 99th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Daniel (Dan), survived by her family Brigid, John, Ann, Mary, Nora, Gerardine and Teresa, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law sons-in-law nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours. Maureen was laid to rest in Ardagh Cemetery after Requiem Mas last Monday. May she rest in peace.
