LOTTO: The result of the Kilcornan Lotto for Saturday January 21. The Jackpot was not won. Lucky dips drawn were, Ettie McDonagh, Rachel Cregan, Nicola and Josie Dolan and D Walsh. The results for Saturday 28. Jackpot not won. Lucky dips to Kathleen Mulcair, Ann Enright, John Neville and Rachel Cregan. Next week the jackpot will be €6550.
CHURCH NEWS: Minister of the Word for Saturday February 4 is Kathleen Hayes and for Sunday February 5 is Liam Walsh. Ministers of the Eucharist are Mary O'Neill and Kathleen Hayes for Saturday. Ita O'Shaughnessy and Eilish Griffin for Sunday.
CHURCH FLOWERS: A collection was taken at both Masses last Saturday and Sunday, January 28 and 29 to cover the cost of flowers for the church for the year. The amount collected was €560. Your usual generous support is appreciated.
Lá Féile Bríd will be celebrated on this Wednesday next February 1. We look forward to our visit to the Holy Well in Kilbreedy on that day after 9.30am Mass to honor St. Brigid. Our sincere thanks to the land owners for allowing us to access the Well on various days during the year.
VALENTINE'S BALL: A Valentine's ball will take place on Saturday, February 11, in Rathkeale House Hotel. All proceeds are going to Milford hospice and The Alzheimers Society Adare Branch. It kicks off at 7pm with a Presseco reception, followed by 5 course meal with complimentary wine. Lots of pop-up entertainment and lots of freebies. Special guest Emmett Daly Voice Of Ireland. MC for the night is Tim Cusack from The Limerick Panto society Limetree Theatre. This is not a Black Tie Event, neat dress essential, but is Ticket Only. Tickets are 50 pp or Table of 10 is 450 euro. COMMUNITY COUNCIL: Our AGM will be held on this Monday February 6 in the Community Centre at 8pm, If you have any issues you wish to raise with the Community Council please come along , or if you cannot attend the meeting talk to any member of the Council for assistance. New members will be very welcome.
