LOTTO: The result of the Kilcornan Lotto for Saturday January 14. The Jackpot was not won. Lucky dips drawn were, Michael O'Donoghue, Rachel Cregan, Siobhan McCarthy, Siobhan Walsh. Next week the jackpot will be €6450.
CHURCH NEWS: Minister of the Word for Saturday January 21 is Edel O'Connell and for Sunday January 22 Pat McMorrow. Ministers of the Eucharist are Ann O'Brien and Kathleen O'Carroll for Saturday. Ita O'Shaughnessy and Nora Murphy for Sunday. Lá Féile Bríd is fast approaching on Wednesday February 1. We look forward to our visit to the Holy Well in Kilbreedy on that day to honor St. Brigid.
COMMUNITY COUNCIL: Well done and a big thank you to all concerned in the organization of the Senior Citizens Party last Sunday. A most enjoyable day was had by all.
Our AGM will be held on Monday February 6 in the Community Centre at 8pm, If you have any issues you wish to raise with the Community Council please come along , or if you cannot attend the meeting talk to any member of the Council for assistance. New members will be very welcome.
SHANNON ESTUARY: We are currently taking application for Search and Rescue Volunteers. If you are interested please call us on 085 838 5566. or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or find us on Facebook. We will provide Training in Search skills, Radio Skills, water Rescue, Map Reading and much more. We have been involved in many searches during the past year from Kerry to Galway. Searches are ongoing at the moment. We also have the facility of a drone to support us in our searches. If you see any thing of concern on the shore line or in the water please call 112 or 999 and look for coast Guard. We will also be providing water awareness class if anyone would like them for clubs, schools, or Groups. We look forward to hearing from anyone interested.
