LOTTO: The result of the Kilcornan Lotto for Saturday November 12. The Jackpot was not won. Lucky dips drawn were, Paddy McDonagh, Emmett Lynch, Christine Kelly and J. Walsh. Next week's jackpot will be €6000.00

CHURCH NEWS: Minister of the Word for Saturday November 19 is Kathleen Hayes, and for Sunday 20 is Pat Nash. Ministers of the Eucharist are Shelia O'Hara and Kathleen for Saturday. Josephine Horan and Kathleen Holland for Sunday.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL: The Church Gate collection taken up recently amounted to €461.00. Thank you to everyone who contributed. if you missed the collection you may give your contribution to any member of the committee.

SAFETY FIRST: The community council are in consultation with members of Limerick County Council with a view to making the area around the entrance to our school, community centre and sports fields safer for traffic using these facilities. We are hoping that traffic calming measures will be put in place in the near future for safety purposes.

STRICTLY COME DANCING: The Strictly Come Dancing event is fast approaching and the dance troupe are in camp with their choreographers where preparations have advanced for the big night in the Southcourt Hotel on November 26. MAIGUE FLOWER AND GARDEN CLUB: The Maigue Flower and Garden Club will hold its Christmas Gala, flower arranging Demonstration on Sunday November 27 in Rathkeale House Hotel at 3pm. The demonstrator will be Sandra Jackson, Floral Artist from Cork. Admission is €10 and there will be a raffle on the door ticket. We look forward to meeting you all.

LOURDES FUND: Cashel and Emly Lourdes Fundraising Committee will hold a Social Tea Dance in Rosegreen, Community Hall, Cashel on Saturday, November 26. Music by: Muriel O’Connor and Fran Curry. Types of work includes: Maintaining and enhancing walkways and trails; village and countryside enhancement projects; social care and care for the elderly; environmental maintenance work; projects relating to not for profit cultural nd heritage sites; work with not for profit organisations including administration.
