There was no winner of the jackpot. Lucky dips were won by John Neville, T.J. McDonagh, Mike Kelly Snr. and Anthony McDonagh.

Next week's jackpot will be €3,200.

CHURCH NEWS: Minister of the word For Saturday October 24 is Edel O'Connell and for Sunday October 25 is It O'Shaughnessy.

Ministers of the Eucharist are Ann O'Brien and Kathleen O'Carroll for Saturday, Ita O'Shaughnessy and Nora Murphy for Sunday.

CEMETERY PRAYERS: During November, especially, we remember those who have passed away and those who are laid to rest in our local graveyards with prayers in Castletown Cemetery on Sunday November 1 at 12 noon and in Kilcornan Cemetery on Sunday November 8 after 11 am Mass.

Our annual Mass for deceased members of our Community will be in St. John the Baptist Church Kilcornan,at 8pm on Monday November 9.

SET DANCING: Set Dancing classes have resumed on Tuesday Evenings until Christmas from 8.30pm to 10.30pm in the Coach Inn Lounge and will cater for beginners and advanced. Only €5.

STONEHALL HARRIERS: Stonehall Harriers will hold a Sidesaddle Hunt on Bank Holiday Sunday at 12pm. The meet will be by the Deel at the 12th Century Franciscan friary. Limerick Garda Youth Awards 2015: Limerick Gardai in association with Garveys SuperValu Newcastle West and Corbally Limerick are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Limerick Garda Youth Awards for 2015.

An Garda Síochána recognise that a lot of good work is being done by young people in every community in Limerick and awards will be considered for nominated young people, 14 to 19 years, who by their presence make their communities a better place to live in.

There will be eight awards 4 overall award winners.1 award winner from each of the four Garda districts within the Limerick division (Bruff, Newcastle West, Henry Street and Roxboro Road.). The awards will be presented t a gala dinner in the Woodlands House Hotel on Thursday November 26, 2015. The nomination process is open to everyone, so if you know of a young person who is committed to making a difference to their community, please put them forward, as every nominee will receive a certificate, even if they do not win an award. This way, all nominees are recognised for their efforts, and the certificate is a very valuable item to have on a young person’s CV into the future.The closing date for nominations is Friday October 30, 2015
