There was no winner of the jackpot. Lucky dips were won by Jack Leahy, Muriel O'Sullivan, T.J. McDonagh and Jack Leahy.

Next week's jackpot will be €3,150.

CHURCH: Minister of the word for Saturday October 17 is Katie Shiels and for Sunday October 18 is John O'Gorman.

BAGS OF LOVE: Please join us for Bags of Love fundraising event on Sunday October 18 at 12 noon in the Community Centre, Kilcornan. Our aim each year is to provide basic food for families, over the Christmas period, in the local Township of Zweishle, South Africa. KENRY HISTORICAL SOCIETY: Pat Meehan will give a talk on the life of Roy Schlegel in the Community Centre, Pallaskenry on Tuesday evening next October 20 at 8pm. All are welcome.

SET DANCING: Set Dancing classes have resumed on Tuesday Evenings since October 13 until Christmas from 8.30pm to 10.30pm in the Coach Inn Lounge and will cater for beginners and advanced. Only €5.

STONEHALL HARRIERS: Stonehall Harriers will hold a Sidesaddle Hunt on Bank Holiday Sunday at 12pm. The meet will be by the Deel at the 12th Century Franciscan friary. SOCIAL MEDIA FOR BUSINESS: Workshops on the world of social media for business are being offered by West Limerick Resources this October to help participants promote or grow their business.
