SALE OF WORK: A Sale of Work, Cake Sale will be held in the Community Centre, Kilcornan, on Sunday next August 27 immediately after 11.30 am Mass. This fundraiser has been held annually for several years now by Tony and Bernadette Hackett. The entire proceeds will be used to feed the poor families, especially children, in an area in South Africa at Christmas time. Please bring your baking, jams, marmalades etc. to the Community Centre on Sunday morning. Your usual kind support for this most worthy charity is very much appreciated.
FREE COMPUTER AND INTERNET TRAINING: Free Digital Skills for Citizens computer and internet training at Foynes library. The course is aimed at beginners and fledgling users, and covers internet security, email, search engines, accessing government services, shopping and banking, voice and video calls, and more. The course is completely free for all participants - a copy of your Eircode (postcode) is required to signup. The training runs for five weeks each Wednesday from 5 pm to 7 pm.
