LOTTO: The result of the Kilcornan Lotto for Saturday April 2. The Jackpot was not won. Lucky dips drawn were: Emmet Lynch, Johnny Dunne, Aubrey Bourke, Michael Meade and Darragh Walsh. Next week the Jackpot will be €4400.00.
CHURCH NEWS: Ministers of the Word for Saturday April 9 is Anne McMahon and for Sunday April 10 is Ita O'Shaughnessy. Ministers of the Eucharist are Anne McMahon and Mairead Lynch for Saturday. Ita O'Shaughnessy and Nora Murphy for Sunday.
SYMPATHY: Sympathy is extended to the McDonagh family on the recent death of Frank Healy, husband of Phil nee McDonagh, formerly of Mountbrown, Rathkeale who died recently. He was laid to rest in Luton, England.
Sympathy is also extended to John Long and family, Curraghchase, on the recent death of his brother Norman who was laid to rest in Mungret old Cemetery. May they rest in peace.
COMMUNITY COUNCIL: Kilcornan Community Council will hold a Church Gate Collection this coming week end of April 9 and 10. Your usual kind generosity will be appreciated.
We are fortunate to have gotten a bag packing slot in Tesco in the Crescent Shopping Centre, Saturday April 16 and are looking for volunteers in the Community to help pack a few bags. If you could spare some time to help on the day, please contact Gillian on 087 77812225

Community Games: Well done to all the children: Amy Foley, John and Katie Ward, Jennifer Kelly, Conor McNamara and Finn O'Gorman who competed in the U10 Talent in Ballingarry Hall on Sunday April 3, and to Jennifer Kelly who came joint fourth in the Recitation.
Rounders will return this Thursday April 7 after school from 3 to 4pm .

WALK A LEISURELY MILE: If you wish to get some exercise and meet new people at the same time all at your own pace, we will be walking from Kilcornan House to Curraghchase Gate/box at a casual pace to suit everyone. We are having the final leg of our trilogy of Smile While You Walk and Walk a Leisurely Mile.
So get the jacket and the walking shoes and come along to our meeting point at Kilcornan House at 1pm on this Sunday April 10 and we will make our way into the gate at Curraghchase and returning back the way we came. Enjoy the company and the beauty of Curraghchase , a little refreshment in Kilcornan House and a small donation all in aid of Milford Hospice. We look forward to walking with you.
