EGG HUNT: There was great interest in the Easter egg hunt in Curraghchase Garden Centre on Easter Sunday. This was the first year of what we hope will be an annual event as parents and children had a trot in the fresh air to whet the appetites for the Easter feast. A special thanks to Ray and Joy, proprietors of the Garden Centre, who organised the fun and games.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL: Kilcornan Community Council will hold a Church Gate Collection on the week end of April 9 and 10. Your usual kind generosity will be appreciated.

We are fortunate to have gotten a bag packing slot in Tesco in the Crescent Shopping Centre, Saturday April 16 and are looking for volunteers in the Community to help pack a few bags.  If you could spare some time to help on the day, please contact Gillian on 087 77812225

Next Community Council Meeting will be held on Monday April 4 at 8pm.

CLEAN UP: TLC2 Team Limerick Clean up 2; Well done and a very special thanks to everyone who helped to clean up the local roads over the Easter Holidays. A worthwhile exercise to enhance our locality. The volume of rubbish collected was, to put it mildly, on the high side.
In conjunction with the clean up members of the Tidy Towns Action Group organised and did a well overdue facelift to the Grotto of Our Lady. The local people are very appreciative of the upgrading and painting of the grotto and the surrounding area as it is very much a focal point in the community.

G.A.A. CLUB: Recently reformed, our G.A.A. Club is recruiting members for the Limerick G.A.A. development Draw. Anyone interested in joining should contact John at 086 3818231 or any member of the committee. Members of the draw will be full members of our Club and, therefore, will be eligible to enter draws for inter county championship tickets. The cost is €100 for the year or €10 a month to cover the ten draws.

Our allocate dog, Silverhill Pat, in the Con and Annie Kirby Memorial Stakes failed to qualify for the semi final, however we had a couple of great nights at the dogs for the heats.

TABLE QUIZ: The G.A.A. Club wish to thank everyone who supported the  fundraising table quiz in the Coach Inn recently Your support is much  appreciated. a special thanks to Peter and Christine Kelly for organising the questions and scores.
